Old Mill Road

An application to demolish the existing dwelling and construct two dwelling and undertake a freehold subdivision at 96 Old Mill Road, Westmere. 

Antony teamed up with the property owner to prepare the resource consent that would allow the construction of a high-quality duplex development and a freehold subdivision at 96 Old Mill Road, Westmere. The client’s brief was to ensure that the site potential was maximised whilst not compromising on the quality of the building and its amenities. Key to the proposal was ensuring the appropriate expert inputs to the proposal to overcome infrastructure constraints on the property and developing a strategy to ensure Council did not deem adjacent neighbours adversely affected by the proposal. Antony provided planning advice during the process to ensure a robust resource consent application was submitted to Council, and post lodgement used his in-depth knowledge of Council’s processes and their thinking, to ensure Council granted the consent without the input of neighbours being needed.
