An application for resource consent for additions and alterations, new buildings and temporary marques consent at 82 Onetangi Road, Waiheke Island.

Wild on Waiheke a large restaurant, cafe and corporate activities and functions provider on Waiheke Island team up with Antony to prepare and lodge a resource consent applicant for a large addition and alteration to their existing restaurant. The consent posed significant risk to the client as they needed to ensure they could retain covered outdoor space to allow them to keep trading, whilst construction on the new addition was underway. Antony, using his eight years’ experience running the Auckland Council’s Gulf Islands planning team, developed a consenting strategy that ensured the client’s consent was granted on a non notified basis in a cost effective and timely manner whilst allowing them to successfully trade during construction.
