Tongue Farm Road

An application to construct a new 520m2 dwelling, minor household unit, garage and pool and to undertake 4949m2 of earthworks at 167 Tongue Farm Road, Matakana.

Antony teamed up with the property owner to prepare the resource consent that would allow the construction of a high-quality dwelling on a 39ha rural property at 167 Tongue Farm Road, Matakana. The consent was challenging in that it involved the construction of a large dwelling in a location deemed sensitive by Council, whilst undertaking a large volume of earthworks as well as retention of the existing dwelling on the site. Antony using his many years’ experience processing resource consents on behalf of Auckland Council in the north Auckland area, quickly identified a consent strategy to enable both the construction of the new dwelling and the retention of the existing dwelling
